Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her witty humor. April Ludgate is her role on Parks and Recreation. Her first web series was the Jeannie Tate Show in which she appeared in improv, sketch and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Then she appeared on Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim in vs. the World later in her career. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington, Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. She is the daughter of Irish, English and Irish while her father was Puerto Rican. Plaza went to the Catholic girls' school from 2002 to 2006, then the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. When she was a student at the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza served as the President of their Student Government. In 2004, while during her sophomore year of college Plaza was struck by a stroke, which caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. Today, she's fully recovered. Plaza started performing improv, sketch comedy and a variety of other forms at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show alongside Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers on CollegeHumor was where Plaza played the Princess a satirical Sci-Fi character. Plaza made her saxophone debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first came to prominence in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, included Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. In the that same year she also played Aaron Burr on Drunk History as well as Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. The television show Criminal Minds.
