Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from both music bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two notable covers that the singer has created. Katy Perry's praise for her song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's recognition. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get a job or a hobby and as a way to grow. As a result, she started writing her own music. Her inspirations include famous writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mother suggested that they can help other people, not to gain fame with her work but to make the people around them understand their own importance and how they impact the world. At age 6, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. They didn't even be aware until fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of being famous. She says she just likes to compose songs. She believes music can make any person feel better.
